7th Annual Faith Fancher Breast Cancer Challenge  We Met the Challenge! On August 20, 2011 thesecondopinion was well represented at the 7th Faith Fancher Breast Cancer Challenge. The event was hosted by Friends of Faith, a non-profit charitable organization set-up by award winning journalist Faith Fancher, who inspired so many with the way she battled cancer with courage, dignity, and was dedicated to fighting against the breast cancer epidemic with the power of information. Faith's mission is to provide support and information to women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, especially those who are uninsured and under-served.  JOIE DE VIVRE! Thanks to the generosity of Samuel Saddik, thesecondopinion is the designated beneficiary of Joie de Vivre!, a 4 day run honoring the memory of his father, Michael Saddik, who was helped by the thesecondopinion in 2008 and sadly passed away because of cancer. This event is ONLY open to friends and members of the Saddik family and supporters of thesecondopinion.This event takes place in bucolic Marin County. The course will extend from Sausalito to Inverness and will include the opportunity to stop at sponsors Mountain Home Inn in Mill Valley or Point Reyes Seashore Lodge in Olema. Whether you participate for 1 day or for all 4, what a wonderful way to support Samuel, his family and thesecondopinion!!

 Winter 2011 La Boulange Fridays!!Thesecondopinion has been chosen by La Boulange
French Bakery on Pine Street as a beneficiary organization of its recently
instituted La Boulange Friday! dinners.
Once a month, La Boulange serves a prix fixe family style dinner to a group of
people. Guests pay for dinner, get to enjoy each others’ company and learn more
about the Bakery and the beneficiary organization. Enjoy a welcoming aperitif and three course family
style meal prepared from our ovens. At the end of the evening guests are asked
to donate what they wish. La Boulange will match the night's donations up to
$5,000.
