NCM New Exhibit 20 years

17 December 2013 marked the 20th year since the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM) opened its doors to the public!

Supporters turned out on the day after Thanksgiving to participate in a pre-birthday celebration that included cake & hands-on activities for everyone. See photos from that celebration in the album on the NCM's Facebook page.

The NCM recently unveiled its newest exhibit,
"American's Hidden Treasure," honoring the 20 years of preserving cryptologic history and sharing it with the public. Pictured here is the exhibit with its five panels, Beginnings, Exhibits, Artifacts, The Library, & Public Outreach. See more photos on the NCM's Facebook page.

If you are interested in supporting the NCM's efforts, please consider making a donation to the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation (NCMF) or joining us as a member. You can make a one-time or recurring donation or become a member ONLINE

As you look toward 2014 and finalize your end-of-year charitable giving plans, we here at the NCMF hope you will consider joining us as a member or making a donation. We rely on your support to continue our mission of supporting the NCM and its vital initiatives. As cybersecurity receives more focus, the NCM's role in continuing to educate the public about the importance of cryptology will become even more key.
Making a donation or becoming a member is easy and can be done quickly ONLINE.

Thank You for your support!

divider2.gif Grace Hopper Google

On 9 December 2013, Google featured an interesting "Doodle" on their home page. The animated illustration honored Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hopper's birthday. A mathematics genius and computer pioneer, Grace Hopper created computer programming technology that forever changed the flow of information and paved the way for modern data processing. She was also the first woman to hold the rank of Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
