Hello all,
Happy 4th of July weekend!
I hope all of you are enjoying a fun holiday break - it’s unbelievable to me that the Fourth of July weekend is already upon us, effectively marking just past the halfway mark for 2011!
This newsletter is just a brief update about some upcoming shows that you might possibly want to include in your summer plans. We’ve also just finished wrapping up the first school year at the new Harlem School of Urban Music and Recording Arts; I’m including some links below to some of the amazing work performed by the students via a brief demo reel and some recordings we’ve done in the studio.
Have a great holiday - and if you’re barbecuing, expect me over with a six pack and some sauce.
Cheers!

HARLEM SCHOOL OF URBAN MUSIC - year recap
We had a tremendous first year at the new Harlem School of Urban Music and Recording Arts. You can check out a monthly breakdown of how the school came to be and hear some of the results of the dedicated student musicians and producers here. Here’s looking to a bigger and better 2011-2012!
MUSICIANSHIP AND SOCIAL MEDIA - ugh!
For musicians. How do these incredible musicians find the time to shed, compose, promote, and be social media experts, all at the same time? This one has been personally confounding for some time.
I recently came across some pretty good solutions to our 21st Century dilema in the article "Time Management for Bands: 12 Tips to Handle Social Media Overload".
