There’s a growing trend among some entrepreneurs to leverage social value to increase sales. They might tie consumer purchases of products with giveaways to those in need – buy one, donate one programs. Or, they may seek to leverage social impact as a core element of their business model to customers. In each case, they are operating with the assumption that the social performance of their business will lead to profitable returns. This session will explore if and when social benefit translates into market success.
