Dear Reader,
May started with an exciting Global Action Day for Pluralism in Economics. As the serenity of the spring gives way to a shimmering summer, we present to you a newsletter where we dive deep into the topic of sustainable urbanization through the experiences shared at the Asia Meet 2015. We also take a sneak peek into how, the much awaited, FutureLab 2015 is shaping up. In our 30 seconds segment we have Oliver Lysaght sharing his experiences of organizing the oikos Spring Meeting 2015. We also take the opportunity to share the success story of the oikos and ISIPE campaign on Pluralism in Economics and call on management enthusiasts to join the PRME Forum for responsible management education. Let's read on and move into making actions mattter!

Oliver Lysaght, Chief Organiser, oikos Spring Meeting 2015
Being a member of the London Spring Meeting Organising Team meant commitment, hard work at the same time it was nerve wracking and an honour in that order. The decision to organize the meeting arose out of a desire to give back to oikos community as they have provided infinite amounts of inspiration in the past year through meetings such as the FutureLab and oikos Winter School. As it is frequently the case, I did not anticipate the quantity of work that would be required when agreeing to take on a commitment such as organising the Spring Meeting. Nevertheless, the team who coalesced around the vision of a Spring Meeting on Finance and Sustainability were second to none in terms of commitment and pleasure to work with, turning the organisation process from something daunting into something rewarding. Within the organisation process, the constant support from Anita, Adriana and the organisation team was fundamental to the conference and something we in London are very much indebted to. For this, thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Spring Meeting and to see the realisation of something that had taken many months of commitment was a great feeling for all of us. We’d like to thank those who attended for lending your time, energy and thoughts to being part of the Spring Meeting. In tackling a nebulous relationship such as Finance and Sustainability was tough, especially in recognition that many of you attending were either working directly in this field or in a stream of education leading to doing so. Nevertheless, we hope everyone had an opportunity to learn something new, be inspired or simply enjoyed being in London. The vision offered by Mr. Lietaer, the insights given by Simon Zadek from the UNEP Enquiry and the human-element offered by Marloes Nicholls are just 3 of the many perspectives we were fortunate to hear from. It was a pleasure having you here in London and we all hope to see you again.
The manner in which we spend our time, energy and money is fundamental in determining how our future will look.
