Presidents' Meeting
The Presidents' gathering, which was held on the 3rd April 2014 at the Copenhagen Business School was attended by over 30 chapter leaders from around the world. The meeting kicked off as the Executive Board of oikos updated the Presidents about their activities from the past 6 months while also filling them in on the strategies and future plans. This was followed by a discussion of the next FutureLab 2014. The last part of the two and a half hour meet was a brainstorming session on how we at oikos define, map, measure, and leverage our impact. This successful conclusion of the President Meeting set the vibe for the upcoming three days of the Spring Meeting.

Arush Chandna
Hello oikees! For those of you whom I’ve haven’t had the pleasure of meeting in person, please allow me to introduce myself as Arush Chandna. I was an Executive Board member of oikos for one and a half years and just recently finished my tenure on the board. Since November 2012, I’ve worked on some very interesting initiatives that were not just fun, but also taught me a lot. Although my engagements were as diverse as developing the oikos Blog to organizing the oikos FutureLab and President’s Meet 2013, I would say that my favorite project was working on oikos’ expansion initiatives in North America.
Although it was great to be involved in initiatives that had a tangible impact on the organization’s growth, I feel that by far the best aspect of the my stint was the meeting and working with some very inspiring, interesting and fun-loving people. I’ve developed associations and networks that I can surely say will not just endure, but also strengthen in the long run. I would say that being a part of the Executive Board of oikos is something that every student interested in sustainability and business should seriously consider. In the end, I’d just like to thank everyone in oikos who made this journey so memorable for me and hope to associate with you again very soon! :)
