You Make The Difference You may not know it, but you already are making a difference in the lives of the more than 8,000 adults, families and children who turn to Riverbend for help, each and every year. Because of ongoing contributions from charitable foundations, businesses, and individuals like you, this is a stronger and healthier community. Your support is greatly appreciated. Our 2009 Annual Report will be released soon and will celebrate our accomplishments, recognize our donors, and provide a number of informative and interesting stories. Please watch for it in your mailbox!

Riverbend Counseling Associates (RCA) Launches a New Era Mental health care in the Capital Region has a fresh look and more importantly, a new partnership with local physicians to better service patient's and client's. "We are very pleased to be starting 2010 with our partners in the primary care field," says Karl Boisvert, Director of Acute Care Services at Riverbend. "Because of the stigma attached to mental health services, many people are still reluctant to ask for help. We know they tend to ask their doctor for advice. This new alliance with local physicians means patients will get answers and get the help they need - for their bodies and minds."
