Battle of the Books for Grades 4-6

Any 4th-6th grader who is interested in the 4th-6th grade Battle of the Books team needs to take the qualifying test on Wednesday, February 8. Read more about how to earn a spot on the Battle of the Books team.

Volunteers Needed
Help sell raffle tickets at school starting February 14. Please use VolunteerSpot to sign up. Just enter your email address to see the schedule.

Give Bell a Gift for the 95th!

The 2012 Wish List has launched, and this year it includes a Birthday Bonus! Thanks to a generous donor, if over 300 families donate Bell School will receive an additional $5,000. The Wish List is Bell's biggest fundraiser, and the only one that lets donors choose which programs to support. Read more about the Wish List.

The Wish List will culminate in a party for parents, staff and friends. Join the 95th Birthday Celebration at Galleria Marchetti on February 25 featuring a live band and party games. The LSC Wants Your Input

The Wish List lets you influence programs at Bell with your donations. Another way to shape your child's school is to complete the survey that will be available starting in next week's Blink. The LSC is asking for parents' input to the school improvement plan via this survey. Feedback on the survey will help the LSC and school leadership team continue to make Bell a great school for our whole community, so please open next week's Blink and encourage other Bell parents to complete the survey too.

LSC Elections

The next Local School Council election is fast approaching. There are six parent positions on the LSC. Nomination forms are available here and in the main office. The deadline for filing these forms is March 8. As this election is run the same as a general election, we are in need of election judges to work the polls that day. There is a $120 stipend for service and judges must attend one training class.
