“I wanted to explore the disconnection between the
traditional family unit and the new family, which I like to define as
non-traditional or constructed,” says Robert Moses. “Ultimately I hope The Cinderella Principle will represent a
tapestry of voices about identity, race, class, gender, and finally, love.”

Choreographer Robert Moses has created
over 80 works for dance, theater and film, and been the recipient of numerous
grants, awards, and fellowships, including seven project awards from the
National Endowment for the Arts, an Irvine Dancemakers grant, the Bonnie Bird
North American Choreography Award and three Isadora Duncan Dance Awards. He has also received a generous grant from the Irvine foundation to tour The Cinderella Principle.
