Community Connect Grants for Lennar Benefit Funds
Bayview Opera House
Apply for a Community Connect Grant
with The San Francisco Foundation

Workshop at Bayview Opera House
Monday, May 21, 2 - 4PM

Dry Dock at the Hunters Point Shipyard

The San Francisco Foundation is delighted to notify you of a Community Connect grant opportunity. As you may already know, the Core Community Benefits Agreement negotiated between community organizations and Lennar, the company developing the Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point, provides funds for workforce development and affordable housing in District 10.

The Implementation Committee governing the use of those funds is preparing to distribute them later this year. But first, the Committee is turning to the community for feedback to ensure its grantmaking strategy matches the needs of District 10 residents.

The
Implementation Committee, with the support of The San Francisco Foundation, is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations based in San Francisco’s District 10 for grants up to $8,000 to engage community residents in this process.

RSVP for this HOW TO APPLY workshop to Nila Kim at nkim@sff.org or for more information, call 415.733.8540. Review the request for qualifications here: www.sff.org/programs/community-development/grants
