For those of you who have had the chance to experience first hand the type of therapy we do at Unbridled Change you know that we ask our clients every time we see them to push through their own boundaries. Sometimes that might be a child struggling with spina-bifida to stretch just a little bit further. Sometimes it is asking a teenager that has put up walls to protect themselves to start trusting again. Well, during the last open house in 2009 I found myself having to push through my own boundaries! I had a personal "ah-hah" moment during a demonstration we gave to our visitors that day. The experience changed the way I look at our program and who can benefit from it from now on... Click here for the full story!

Dining out at Wendy's for a Cause Wendy's and Catie Foods have partnered with Unbridled Change to help us raise funds to support our scholarship and horse funds. Last month Wendy's donated $292 toward our "Take Back the Reins" program. In just three months from your support and Wendy's/Catie Foods generous donations we have raised $1,030! With all the snow and extreme cold weather we have been having lately we are going to take a break in the month of February - but we will be back with Dining out at Wendy's for a cause in March...
Goal for March - $600! What could be easier to help raise funds, dine-out at Wendy's in Rocky Mount - enjoy great food and help Unbridled Change at the same time! Ideas on how you can help us spread the word and get people through the doors to raise the funds -

Target Awards us a $1000 grant! 
Target continues to support us in 2010 with an additional $1000 grant. The grant funds will go toward our "Take Back the Reins" program that provide mental health therapy to children, teens, and adults that are victims or witnesses to domestic violence. The funds will help teens from the Franklin County area complete a 10 week equine assisted psychotherapy course designed to help them break the cylce of domestic violence by learning healthy communication, relationship, and self-respect skills.
