Summer Programs are Enrolling Now
Horses 101
We have added a great new summer program this year - Horses 101! It is open to all children and teens that want to learn more about horses. Horses 101 focuses on:
-
Learning basic horseman
ship skills
-
Learning basic horse care and grooming
-
and Learning basic riding skills
Plus during the 4 day camp participants will develop life and leadership skills.
The early bird rate has expired, but if you include a printed copy of this newsletter with your child's application you can still enroll for the reduced rate of only $120 per camp! The camps are almost full so contact us today to reserve your child's slot.
Highlighted Partnerships with Unbridled Change
In today's economy funding programs and reaching those clients most in need is something every non-profit is struggling with. At Unbridled Change we firmly believe that working with other organizations that have similar missions is one of the main ways we can ensure that everyone has access to our programs.
This summer we are partnering with groups such as Smith Mountain Lake Good Neighbors to provide equine assisted learning for their summer camps. Unbridled Change will be participating in both of their summer camps (one in Bedford County and one in Franklin County). We will be packing up the show and bringing our horses to them! During our part of their camp we will be focusing on non-violent conflict resolution and helping to bring character development concepts to life through hands-on activities with the horses. To learn more about our character development program click here.
Other agencies that we have developed strategic partnerships with are: Piedmont Community Services, DePaul Community Resources, Franklin County YMCA, and the Girl Scouts of VA Skyline Council just to name a few.
If you are interested in learning how Unbridled Change can partner with your organization feel free to contact us.
