Hi everyone!

I hope you've all had a great holiday weekend! July has come around and there are already tons of things going on all around the Catalyst Network.

Monday was the 4th of July - Independence Day. As my friends Tony and Christine pointed out, we ought to think about our "Inter-Dependence" with each other. That means we all need each other. Catalyst will continue to promote the concept of "community-sustainability." This is a call to look beyond your own self-sustainability but to seek everyone's sustainability. Let's make it so that we all win. Let's make it so that all of us are funded. Let's make it so that all of us have the resources we need. Let's make it so that all of our meetings and events are packed with people. We just have to be willing to be intentional and purposeful about noticing each other - fellow neighbors - identifying needs, then taking the initiative to meet those needs. Let's all help out!

And so in a very real and tangible way, we are all catalysts....a community of catalysts.

Connect and Affect, my friends! Be sure to pass this on to your network of people.

The Space Between

Working together through a new collaborative partnership, Josh Ebener (Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church) and Eric Leocadio (Founder of Catalyst) will begin co-facilitating a new discussion group called "The Space Between" starting July 14th, every 2nd Thursday of each month.

"The Space Between" represents that place on a spiritual journey between where you came from and some other destination. For some, they know what and where that destination is. For others, we're exploring. But we're all on a journey.

This will be a space for fostering spiritual conversation. It's a safe space to talk about where we've been, why we've left, the questions we may have and the life we're experiencing. All people of all backgrounds are welcome.

On July 14th, our first topic will be "I've Left My Church But Not My Faith."

This is not a church. This is not a Bible study. This is not a place neccesarily for answers. It's a place that starts with questions.

If you'd like to journey with us, contact Eric at eric.leocadio@gocatalyst.org and we'll pass on meeting details.
