Greetings ERP friend, champion and fan! It is both a new year on the calendar and a new year for us at Eden Reforestation Projects (ERP). All of us on staff feel we are on the cusp of great things this coming year and we look forward to sharing with you the many exciting exploits that are coming down the pike.

Our Haiti Project If you've been following the ERP updates on our website, you know that we started a pilot project in Haiti in 2009. Sadly the earthquake of January 12th has caused extensive damage over there.
Our pilot project leader, Sonève Désir, is still unaccounted for but this is not surprising since most communications are still down.
We will continue to plant trees in Haiti, but -for now- our project there must wait until basic infrastructure and order are restored. Our post-earthquake plan is to initiate an even more aggressive agroforestation effort than originally intended. We will certainly keep you posted as opportunities develop and new information comes forward. |

Our 2009 Year-End Report 2009 was a fantastic year of growth and opportunity! If you didn't read or download our Year-End report, we want to share with you how the year went.

Opportunities and EXCITING Connections Abound! |
 |
|
2009 has opened the doorways to new partnerships, new networking circles, new champions, new volunteers and numerous conversations with individuals that are enthusiastic and passionate in response to the work that we are doing.
We are fostering continuing dialogs with world-class leaders, major corporations, famous authors, climatologists, small businesses and hundreds of grass-roots workers ready to enter their fields with "Eden Reforestation Projects" on their minds, on their wrist bands, in their waiting rooms, on their computers and in their conversations. This is a very exciting time. The picture above is of Kelly Soifer and one of her very helpful volunteer assistants, Alexandra Ramstrum, who represented ERP at a major convention which netted a 400% BETTER response than what was considered by convention officials to be a "great response." As a result, we became more known "internationally", established in-roads with major environmental and grass-root organizations and it has shown us a couple of areas where we can grow even more!
Kudos to our team! Let this serve as an encouragement for your financial support and your greater participation in such an exciting endeavor. |
Thank you for continuing to rally and contribute to this important work! -The ERP Team
