Art of the Rail

The Big Read and Morton Present
"The Art of the Rail ... The Art Show"

Opening:  Friday, April 11 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Exhibition:  April 11 - May 10

Marilynne Robinson's novel Housekeeping is The Big Read we have been sharing.  The railroad is one of the author's vivid symbols, and it is certainly a live presence in our Hudson River hamlets and towns.

Join us at Morton on April 11th to enjoy art from our community inspired by rail and train:  photos, sculptures, paintings, drawings, audio and video.

Admission is free; art purchases and donations for the library are welcome.
Refreshments will be available.

The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment of the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest, designed to revitalize the role of literature in American culture.
