The financial support from individual, corporate, and foundation supporters like you provide the resources we need to make Massachusetts a better place to walk!

Congratulations to all our Golden Shoe Award Winners:
Sarah Freeman: Jamaica Plain walking advocate
Mayor Gary Christenson, Sharon Santillo, & artist Frank Stella: Malden ped activists

We were delighted that artist Frank Stella was able to attend & receive a Golden Shoe Award. When asked about the award in comparison to other accolades he has received, Frank said it was "a lot different than anything I really expected to tell you the truth - and aesthetically speaking, it is pretty hard to do more than a shoe. I'll be very careful not to spill any paint on it."

We've posted a selection of photos on Facebook & the full photo album of high resolution photos on our Flickr page.

You can also see our new brochure "We Connect People To Walking" that has a great infographic showing WalkBoston's impact by the numbers!

In 2015, we'll be celebrating our 25th Anniversary with events throughout the year. If you would like to help in the planning process, please email Brendan.

Additional Media:
The City of Malden posted a great writeup and photos of the event to the City of Malden's Flickr page; we'd also encourage you to check out the City of Malden's YouTube Channel, which includes many videos that cover pedestrian issues.
