SIGN UP FOR ILP CONFERENCES!

Your child’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is designed individually each quarter and includes a list of learning outcomes the student is expected to achieve by the end of that quarter. This serves as both a visual indicator of progress and an agenda for personal conferences with the student’s teachers and parents. Progress on the learning outcomes is noted in the PowerSchool program.  The final level of achievement on each learning outcome will be a part of the student’s ILP.  ILPs are developed each quarter during a student/parent/teacher ILP conference.  The conference includes a review of the student’s progress and goals for the upcoming quarter.

  • Participation in the ILP Conference is required. Students might not be promoted to the next grade level and/or graduate without this involvement.
  • Second quarter ILP Conferences are Thursday, October 11th and Friday, October 12th.
  • Student attend ILP Conferences with their parents/guardians.
  • Appointments are required.
  • No walk-ins allowed.
  • Expect to spend about 45 minutes reviewing your child’s work, setting goals and meeting with teachers.
  • If your family has multiple student siblings, please plan accordingly.
  • Talk with your child before the ILP Conference to discuss how things are going for the quarter, and maybe some areas they would like to improve on- help them set realistic and helpful goals as they move into the quarter.
  • ILP Conference Days are also Early Release Days. Elementary students will end their day at 11:30 a.m.

BOOK FAIR STARTS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24!
There are still volunteer spots available, please consider volunteering, click on the link provided to look at available shifts, we can't do it without you!

The Book Fair will be open Monday, Sept. 24th 7:30am to 5:00pm, Tuesday, Sept. 25th to Thursday, Sept. 27th 7:30am to 8:00pm.  We will be open before and after all elementary summatives.  Tax is not included, we charge 8.6% on all purchases.  Please remember this when sending money with students.  Books range in price from 3.99 to 24.99, the majority of the books are 5.99 to 8.99.

We suggest that you do NOT send money to school with Kindergarten!  Please join them at the Book Fair after your summative time.

1-2 is allowed to bring money, with parent permission!  Money should be in a ziploc baggy labeled with the students name and amount of money.  Students are directed to give money to their teachers for safe keeping until they are ready to purchase at the book fair.  Please prompt your student with some direction, do you expect them to come home with a book?  There are other items available such as posters, highlighters, pens, chocolate calculators.  Students with free range tend to choose these types of items!

The online book fair is now open!  You may preview the book fair and shop online, all books purchased will be mailed to the school.  Here you can see books available, prices, lexile levels and book talks.

Download the Scholastic app to your smartphone before the book fair!  This will assist you in finding lexile levels and book trailers to find the perfect books for your child.
