Kadampa Way of Life
Sunday 18 & 25 Sept 4 - 6pm & 7 - 9pm
7.30am, 10.30am, 4.30pm , 7.30pm
Pure Kadampa practioners enjoy lasting peace of mind through their daily practice of Buddha's teachings, finding spiritual lessons in every situation they make rapid progress on the spiritual path and bring lasting benefit to others. Based on 'Modern Buddhism' this short course will explain how through study and meditation we can begin to live the life of a pure Kadampa. These classes will also offer the opportunity to gain an introduction to the Foundation Programme and answer any questions you may have. Suggested donation per Sunday is £5 which includes a meal and refreshments.
Living Meditation 6 Week Course
Wednesdays 7.30pm - 9.00pm

This 6 week course is based on the Living Mediation series of CD's - Meditation for Relaxation, Meditations for a Clear Mind & Meditations for a Kind Heart. Each class will include guided mediations and teachings based on these CD's and practical advice on how to follow up these practices in your own time. Cost for the course is £30.

Join us for a short, guided meditation, a brief teaching and a 3 course vegetarian meal in the best of company in our beautiful cafe area. This month we shall be hosting Swiss evening. Walk for World Peace

St Ives , Bingley followed by optional lunch at the World Peace Cafe
Join us for an informal walk in some beautiful countryside with a short guided meditation en route, the distance is approx 4.5 miles. Meet at the car park on St Ives Estate. Following the walk, we offer the option of having lunch at the World Peace Café.
Lamrim Retreat
Tues 30 Aug - Sat 3 Sept
7.30am, 10.30am, 4.30pm , 7.30pm
This retreat is a special opportunity to focus and gain deeper experience of the 21 meditations that are the stages of the path to enlightenment, or Lamrim. During each retreat session there will be an opportunity to engage in preparatory prayers, read/study and meditate. There are 4 session each day. Each session lasts 1.5 hours. Sessions are open to all and there is no need to book.
