Sign up to volunteer at the first event of the season, March 10, 2013! 

We need route rabbits, folks to help with outreach before the event, and intersection monitors for all shifts on March 10. You’ll get a cool Sunday Streets t-shirt, a free lunch, and the opportunity to spend the day with awesome people. And that’s not even to mention that great feeling you will have knowing that you made Sunday Streets possible. 


It takes hundreds of volunteers to make each Sunday Streets season a success. From neighborhood outreach and noticing before each event, to staffing intersections and monitoring the route, volunteers help keep Sunday Streets running and make each event safe and fun for thousands of San Franciscans! Sign up to join us today!

Sunday Streets Returns to the Embarcadero on March 10, 2013!

We've been getting a lot of requests from people wanting to know when the 2013 season is starting. Well wait no longer, we are ready to spread the word! Sunday Streets is kicking off the 5th season on the Embarcadero! On Sunday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  the Embarcadero will be transformed into a space for you to bike, walk, run, do yoga, dance, play. We have a full lineup of activities coming soon, so mark your calendars, because you won't want to miss it! 
Other dates to note are:
4/14/13 Mission,
6/9 Bayview,
7/7 Great Highway.

2013 brings a new look to
Sunday Streets! 
The website has a fresh, new look, so make sure to stop by and check it out! There is a new Sunday Streets blog that will announce activities happening within the event, and other special news. We have partnered with PlaceGuides on an interactive map for each route, so look for the March 10 interactive map in the next week!
