A Strong Start with Some Great Finishes!

All athletes rocked their first two races of the season! At Green Lake on March 20th, the boys finished second in both the junior novice 4+ and junior novice 8+ races. And the next weekend up in Everett, the girls pulled off that same finish.

  On the water with RVR... 

 

With more races to come, there are lots of chances to watch RVR athletes in action. So put on something blue and head down to one (or several) of these regattas!

 

April 10 ~ Tri-Meet at Lake Washington Rowing Club, Seattle, WA

April 17 ~ Vancouver Lake Tri-Meet, Vancouver, WA

April 23-25 ~Brentwood Regatta, Mill Bay, BC

May 2 ~ Duel with Green Lake at Mt. Baker, Seattle, WA

May 14-16 ~ Northwest Junior Regionals, Vancouver, WA

News from the Coach's Launch...

  RVR is growing! RVR staff and volunteers have been busy collaborating with community partners to develop innovative new programs and get more youth on the water! As we start to implement these programs our staff and volunteer needs will grow - WE NEED YOUR HELP to make these programs happen! E-mail carla@rainiervalleyrowing.org if you are interested in being part of our growing "on-call" volunteer team to help with transportation, program implementation, and much more!
