Climate Ride Accepts New Beneficiaries and Continues Adding Beneficiaries on a Rolling Basis
Thanks to the feedback and encouragement from riders-participants, Climate Ride implemented a new beneficiary structure which allows us to have a big impact on the sustainability movement. So now is the time to join the ride to keep the sustainability movement going strong! See below for information on half price registration this week only 8/1 through 8/7...In the past week we have added several amazing non-profits working on sustainability, renewable energy, climate education and bike advocacy. These groups are working on a host of national and local issues.  To welcome the new beneficiaries and the other organizations that will be joining them this week, we are reducing the registration fee to HALF PRICE!This week, from today, 8/1, until Sunday, 8/7, you can register for Climate Ride California for 1/2 off the $75 registration fee. A View of the Future and Lunch!
We’re happy to announce that - on the Pre-Ride Package day from San Francisco to Fortuna – we’ll stopping half-way at the beautiful Solar Living Institute in Hopland, CA, for a terrific picnic lunch! Established in 1998 by the founder of the Real Goods Trading Company, John Schaeffer, the Solar Living Institute is a non-profit solar training organization that promotes sustainable living through inspirational environmental education. It’s also a relaxing location dotted with working solar panels and sustainable gardens. Our box lunches are not only delicious and organic, but are fully compostable, including the box and utensils! You’ll get to experience all of this and more on Climate Ride California this October!
