gIVE big TO bIKE wORKS!

Between midnight and midnight, participate in the one day giving challenge to support the nonprofits that make King County a vibrant and healthy place to live, like Bike Works! Our goal for this year's event is $4,000--enough to send five youth on summer touring camps. To help us reach this goal, the GiveBIG challenge will "stretch" each gift made with a pool of matching funds. Help us kick our summer off right. Join us for this year's GiveBIG! Bike Works Open House

Stop by and see our newly remodeled Bike Shop during our upcoming Open House! Between 5:30 and 8:30pm on May 4th, check out the shop (open late!), learn about our summer programs, participate in raffles, and more! We have a few fun and secret tricks up our sleaves. Come celebrate with us!

Bike Works is also the starting location for Columbia City's first Beat Walk of the season! Enjoy music from a few youth bands starting at 6:30 before wandering about the neighborhood. We hope to see you there! 
 

The 16th Annual Kids Bike Swap!

The Kids Bike Swap helps to facilitate the flow of affordable bicycles within the community and keeps fully functional bikes out of our local landfills. This event is an opportunity for families to trade in a bike their child has outgrown for a larger bike – just in time for the summer riding season! Cascade Bicycle Studios Bike Drive & Wine Tasting

On Thursday, May 17, from 5:30 - 8:30pm, Cascade Bicycle Studio, 115 N 36th St #A, Seattle, WA 98103, will be hosting a wine tasting featuring wine from Eleven Winery. All net proceeds will go directly to Bike Works! Mark your calendars to sample locally-produced wine from Bainbridge Island. $10 for five - 1 oz. tastings; Glass and bottles of wine also available for purchase.

In addition to the tasting, they will be hosting a bike drive for Bike Works and screening Stage 12 of that day's Giro d'Italia.
