I'm happy to report that we got more than 120 institutions completing the Analytics benchmarking survey last week. I'll work on the report today.

If you're serious about Analytics (and other big topics in our industry), there's a conference you don't want to miss this Fall: SIM Tech in Las Vegas (October 20-22, 2010).

Avinash Kaushik, the Analytics godfather, will present the conference keynote. Shelby Thayer and I will give an update about the Analytics revolution sharing results, tactics and a couple of KPIs we'd like to become standards in higher education. Jessica Krywosa, Rick Allen and Joshua Dodson will also present advanced sessions about Web Analytics. 

Most of the team of the eduguru blog is scheduled for a panel on how to create a social media policy.

It's definitely a conference you want to keep on your radar or even better attend.
