Hi Valued Customer,

Welcome to our new-look Newsletter. We will be sending these out every 2/3 months, we hope that you will find them interesting.

Year in review
This year has been an incredible year for us, and since this is our first newsletter we thought that we would sum it all up for you:

• we now have a management couple in each resort, and our service is continuing to improve
• we undertook some new developments in our resort in Lembeh including landscaping and new dive center, and the new Sunset Cafe
• our course director Brendon joined us full time and we can now offer IDCs any time - we just finished an IDC in Oct with 4 candidates!
• we became a PADI TEC Center and can offer accompanied diving for all TEC diving. We also have our own rebreathers and the rebreather try-out dives are proving very popular!
• our resort in Lembeh became a PADI 5 Star Resort

We will be continuing our developments, things in the pipeline include a new dive center and swimming pool in Bunaken, and the development of our conservation activities such as Eco-DM courses and Volunteer Programs in both Bunaken & Lembeh.

We wish you safe diving, and we hope to see you in Bunaken or Lembeh again!

Critter Corner
If you look very closely at this photo of an Anemonefish, you can see another pair of eyes staring out at you from its mouth! This is a parasitic relationship, where a tiny isopod climbs into the Anemonefish’s mouth and latches onto its tongue. The tongue then dies and the isopod replaces the tongue, and the fish continues to live. When you are next diving, if you see one looking like it is coughing, then try to get a close-up look into its mouth and you may see one of these little guys looking back at you!

Whats hot in diving
The current craze in diving is rebreather diving!! PADI have just announced their new PADI Rebreather and Advanced Rebreather Divers courses, and we think that this is going to become alot more popular over the next few years. But what is it?
