Marshall FosterThe Key to American Liberty
Guest essay by Marshall Foster

Since the early 20th century America has entered into a century long romance with the leviathan of public debt. Since the year 2000 our debt has exploded from $5 trillion to over $17 trillion. Thomas Jefferson had interesting insights into this subject.

America's third president warned against the centralization of power in the hands of an elite. He saw the people, not an elite, as the hope of preserving our republic,

"And to preserve their [the peoples'] independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.  We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude.  If we run into such debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and or creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow sufferers."
This description of England in his time sounds strangely familiar to us today. According to Jefferson, "private fortunes are destroyed by public as well as by private extravagance. And this is the tendency of all human governments... Till the bulk of the society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery, and to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering... And the fore horse of this frightful team is public debt…Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." Read On

William J. Murrayn Obama liberals' hatred for religious freedom
Guest Essay by William J. Murray

There is little doubt that the Obama White House was behind the attempt to defund and shut down the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. The USCIRF is an embarrassment to an Administration which wants to pretend that Sharia law, which permits honor killings, is no different than English Common Law. The bleak reports from the USCIRF on religious persecution in many of the Islamic nations favored by President Obama moved his Administration to shut down the USCIRF using a back door in the budget process. His point man, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), is from Obama’s home state of Illinois. Durbin was Obama’s former colleague in the Senate and is now the Majority Whip, the number two Democrat in the Senate.

The House voted to fund the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom earlier this year. Senator Durbin held the funding hostage in the Senate with a “secret hold” but let everyone know the hold was his. In late December Republicans, with much outside pressure from groups such as the Religious Freedom Coalition, forced through temporary funding; however, Durbin added a last minute amendment that ousted Bush appointees using “term limits” which will allow President Obama to stack the deck with liberals who have no problem with Islamic honor killings. The main sponsor of the funding reauthorization in the House, Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), called the demand blackmail.Read On

Exodus 20:13

Thou shalt not kill.

Tony NassifRoe v. Wade
Guest Essay by Tony Nassif

Los Angeles: We now approach another day of infamy commemorating millions of aborted children.

We hear about the horrors of the execution of the babies and the suffering repercussions the mothers' face emotionally.

Yet there is another victim. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you." Since God forms the baby in the womb, what does He experience in an abortion?

The following is an account of a prophetic encounter I had with God:

I was in a traffic jam on the freeway when the Lord spoke profoundly and forcefully saying,
"I want to tell you how personally I am taking abortion."

"I think at the heart of the pro-life movement is the idea that all people are created equal, endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights starting with life."

Peter HammondMass Marketing the Mandela Myth
Guest Essay by Peter Hammond

Film Review
The new Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom film presents a selection and distortion of the history of South Africa and Nelson Mandela as the secular humanists of the New World Order would like us to perceive it. The film rushes through the life and times of Nelson Mandela, completely ignoring the Cold War context and threat of Soviet communism on the borders of South Africa at that time. It glosses over the murders and massacres of the Marxists and presents scenes that stereotype whites as racist and blacks as noble revolutionaries only seeking for justice.

Political Propaganda
Producer Anant Singh is recognised as South Africa's preeminent anti-apartheid film producer. Previous productions of Singh include: Place of Weeping, Sarafina!, Red Dust and Cry, the Beloved Country. Heavily funded by the South African ANC government and the Nelson Mandela Foundation, this 22 million Pounds authorised biopic presents a selection of incidents from the history of South Africa and the life of Nelson Mandela that will go a long way towards further marketing the Mandela myth.

The American Indian
The American Indian
Book by  R. J. Rushdoony

Long before state health care or food stamps, before the creation of welfare ghettoes in our major cities, America's first experiment with socialism and government dependency practically destroyed the American Indian.

In 1944 young R. J. Rushdoony arrived at the Duck Valley Indian Reservation in Nevada as a missionary to the Shoshone and the Paiute Indians. For eight years he lived with them, worked with them, ministered to them and listened to their stories. He came to know them intimately, both as individuals and as a people.
