Itty Bitty Donation Drive
Now - October 20th
Girls Rock! Chicago is lucky to have strength in numbers. We're also
lucky to have been offered an EXTRA $10 for every donation made to our
organization between now and October 20th via
Just Give. So - putting
two and two together - if we can collect a large number of little
donations, we will end up with a LOT of money. We're looking for
100 donors to take part in this challenge. If you've ever considered giving to GR!C but haven't yet, please think about donating the small amount of $10 now. Your donation will become $20 and we will be well on our way to reaching our goal of $2000 - enough to fund 5 full scholarships to next summer's camps.
As always, all donations in any amount are 100% tax deductible since Girls Rock! Chicago is a 501c3 non-profit. If you like what we do, let us know and watch your little bit go a long way:

Girls Rock! Chicago Seeks Space
Girls Rock! Chicago began in 2006 with 16 campers. By 2007, summer camp attendance had skyrocketed to 60 girls and as many volunteers. This summer we held two camps for the very first time, serving a total of 150 girls from ages 8-16. Our next hope as an organization is to find a space of our own largest enough to host year round programs, workshops and music lessons. Do you know of an empty storefront in your neighborhood that just might fit the bill? Please let us know. Do you have a background in commercial real estate or any skills to bring to the table in helping us make this dream a reality? Then we'd love to hear from you. Send your thoughts, suggestions and offers regarding all things "space" to info@girlsrockchicago.org.
GR!C is Ready to Rock YouTubeHave any great videos of your campers performing their songs at Metro?
How about of your band taking the stage at Schubas after a long weekend of
Ladies Rock camp? If so, please share them with us! We know we're all over the internet but we'd love to compile all of the Girls Rock! videos out there in one neat place - a Girls Rock! Chicago You Tube channel. You know, anything to make it easier for Grandma & Grandpa to find them. Send us what you've got and we'll do the rest. kara@girlsrockchicago.org knows what's up!
