Hey friends,
We are excited to announce two events for those of you with California inclinations: Weaponized Social is taking place in San Francisco in May, and the 12th annual Nonprofit Software Dev Summit just landed on our autumn calendar. We invite you to join us to work towards a more collaborative nonprofit technology ecosystem.

L.A. nonprofits weigh in on ways to leverage tech in community efforts
After a week of driving through the south side of California, we are back from this year's first CA Listening Tour. We thank the organizations who opened up their doors to share insight on how they hope to leverage technology for their frontline community work.
2015 Nonprofit Software Development Summit
Our 12th annual Nonprofit Software Development Summit is taking place on November 18 - 20 (Weds - Fri) in Oakland, California! The Dev Summit brings together software developers, nonprofit staff and activists, and capacity builders to share knowledge, discover new allies, and collectively envision the future of free and open technology to support positive social change.
No need to wait for the opening circle. We invite you to cocreate the emerging agenda for Dev Summit 2015. Tell us your topics of interest, collaborative ideas, and folks to invite to the space.
- Registration is open! Head over to the Dev Summit registration page to get your name on the list.
- As always, sliding scale is available. Just reach out to us.

Collaborating to fight censorship and surveillance
This week, we are in Valencia, Spain, to help organize and facilitate OpenITP's Circumvention Technology Festival. This week-long convening brings together people from around the world to exchange knowledge and collaborate on efforts to challenge censorship and surveillance. As the convening continues, we are excited to co-facilitate the Tor Project's Winter Developers Meeting and ASL19's Iran CyberDialogues.
We are happy to be in the company of friends and allies in the human rights technology community at #CTFestival!
What is happening on your end?
We hope to see you soon! If you find yourself in the Mission District, stop by our San Francisco Nonprofit Technology Center for a some strong coffee, or drop us a line on Twitter if that's more your style.
best,
Javier & team Aspiration
