Community Spotlight
Tracy Perkins Project Director
Voices from the Valley
We are in awe of Tracy's inspiring dedication to support environment justice in the San Joaquin Valley of California.
She developed an online project,
Voices from the Valley, which uses photography, oral history, and the news media to paint a vivid picture of environmental toxins in the Valley.
From CATechFest to Bay Area convenings, we are grateful for all the leadership she brings to technology for social justice!

Hi Everyone,
Bouncing from sunny Cali to other more autumn-filled parts of the world the past couple of months, we're more grateful than ever for people like you taking risks and taking stands to support the causes that matter most.
We're hoping to help you end the year strong with an extra boost of tech support for your daily grind ;).
What's Inside the 2013 Fall Newsletter
California Leaders Who Go the Extra Mile
Over 200 community-based organizations from 25 California communities have participated in the growing technology capacity building network in California over the past two years.
Read about the emerging statewide network of leaders who invest the time to travel around the state on many nonprofit technology adventures.
During the most recent California
Nonprofit Technology Festival in Sacramento, a compelling set of leaders flooded the room with knowledge. Check out the details from Sacramento in September below:
What happened at CA Tech Fest Sacramento?
What's Next for California?
We are setting off on road trips to talk to nonprofits about the challenges and opportunities they face in technology and online organizing. Based on the feedback, we'll hold a series of hands-on workshops around the state in 2014.
On another exciting note, the next California Nonprofit Technology Festival is planned for April 2014 in the city of, wait for it, Los Angeles!
We are scheming plans with local nonprofits now and looking forward to organizing a tech fest for the rest of us in LA!
