I hope everyone is having a joyous and safe holidays. I just wanted to remind you that we still have space available for New Year's Eve at Sent Sovi. If you would like to be snug in your bed by the time the ball drops, come early, otherwise come and celebrate the new year with us. I'll keep the Champagne on ice.
For New Year's, I always like to cook and eat food that features the familiar ingredients and flavors of celebration. I enjoy presenting them as a recap of past ideas and at the same time build upon them to foreshadow new dishes of the coming year.
For New Year's Eve, we are offering 2 options:
Our cozy lounge will be open from 5:00pm onwards to ring in the new year. Our menu of small, sharable plates and 4 course farmers market weekly special will of course be available. No reservations needed. For large parties of six or more, we have limited reserved seating available (including Grandma's couches). (408) 867-3110

Holiday Hours, December 2014
The main Dining Room is open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner beginning at 5:00pm. (408) 867-3110 for reservations.
The Lounge is open Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00-10:00 and Sunday 4:30-8:30 no reservations are needed for the lounge, however reservations are accepted for parties of six or more.
We will be open on Christmas Eve (menu below), closed on Christmas Day, Open for New Year's Eve (menu below) and Closed January 1st-7th, reopening on January 8th.
Tuesday: Half Price By-the-glass wines in both the Wine Lounge and Main Dining Room, served out our custom built dispensing system. Kosta Browne, Kathryn Kennedy and lots of other great pours to be had.
Thursday: Free fresh-baked pretzel with any beer purchase in the lounge. We have a great selection of european beers including the "Ameristyle" Schneider Weisse Tap 5 Schneider & Brooklyner Hopfen-Weisse (info here), a collaboration between the brewmasters from those two breweries. 3 Fantastic Dooooohmestic beers on tap as well.
