Invitation from Governor Jerry Brown: California Trade Mission to China
CALIFORNIA-CHINA OFFICE OF TRADE AND INVESTMENT
January 30, 2013
We invite you to join us in leading an historic trade and investment mission to China. Governor Jerry Brown and senior members of his administration will be traveling to China on Monday, April 8 for an eight day trip that will include the official opening of the California-China Office of Trade and Investment. California has not had a formal trade presence in China since 2003. Our office will unite two of the largest and most dynamic economies and business communities on the planet.
The Governor’s mission will focus on several components of building and strengthening the economies between California and China. Delegates will visit with high ranking officials in Beijing, Shanghai, and other key cities, tour California companies and projects in China, and lead events to promote California to potential Chinese investors.
A participation fee of $10,000 covers all delegate expenses for the eight days in China including hotels, meals, translators, onsite support, and travel throughout China (excluding airfare to and from China).
We hope you will join us for this historic trip and look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions, and to return the enclosed application form, please contact Genevieve Herreria at firstname.lastname@example.org or 415.946.8734.
