Diaspora Dialogues supports the creation and presentation of new fiction, poetry and drama that reflect the complexity of the city through the eyes of its richly diverse writers.

Diaspora Dialogues Book Cover

Publishing and mentoring activities, as well as a monthly multidisciplinary performance festival, help encourage the creation of a literature that is vibrant and inclusive, while bringing these works to a wide audience.

Diaspora Dialogues is supported by Maytree, Canadian Heritage, Ontario Arts Council,  Canada Council for the Arts, the City of Toronto through the Toronto Arts Council, the George Cedric Metcalf Charitable Foundation, TO Live With Culture, the Vital Toronto Fund at the Toronto Community Foundation, and RBC Foundation.

If you have a project, job posting or call that you would like to share with the Network, please contact skye@torontoarts.org

Our Mandate: The Neighbourhood Arts Network is Toronto's first network dedicated to supporting art-making in neighbourhoods throughout the city. The Neighbourhood Arts Network supports and connects artists, arts organizations and community groups creating art at a local level.

We welcome groups and individuals working in any arts discipline, from any area of the city, whose interests or mandates embrace the idea of community engagement and accessibility of the arts.
