About Amy Roloff

We are excited this year to present Amy Roloff! Amy is the mom from the reality show on TLC "Little People, Big World". She will talk about challenges and success strategies for living as a little person. She will also challenge audience members to reaffirm the ADA's promise of participation, equality and inclusion.

Amy is a working mom, invested in balancing the various aspects of her life. She has been married for 21 years to Matt Roloff and together they have four energetic children. With grace and skill, Amy navigates her hectic life alongside the busy schedules of her children, her project-orientated husband, the family farm, life on television, speaking engagements and volunteer service. Amy has served her Oregon community in many ways including preschool teacher, soccer coach, school board member and parade Grand Marshall. She further serves her community by advocating for those with disabilities inspiring others to reach their potential in spite of challenges and obstacles.

About the ADA

On July 26, 1990, President George H. Bush signed into law the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to ensure the civil rights of people with disabilities. This legislation established a clear and comprehensive national mandate for the elimination of discrimination against individuals with disabilities.

The ADA has expanded opportunities for Americans with disabilities by reducing barriers and changing perceptions, increasing full participation in community life. However, the full promise of the ADA will only be reached if we remain committed to fully implement the ADA.

On the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we celebrate and recognize the progress that has been made by reaffirming the principals of equality and inclusion and recommitting our efforts to reach full ADA compliance.

Please join us.
