This intensive, week-end workshop will help you deepen your intimate connection, and provide you with practical skills to enhance your relationship.  The format is a combination of  lectures, written exercises, demonstrations, and partners' dialogue and communication processes. While couples are invited to share with the group, the workshop emphasizes partners sharing privately with each other. Confidentiality is emphasized in order to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

Ben has been leading these Workshops since 2002, and has presented over 50 workshops in the Denver and Boulder areas to hundreds of couples.

KENNETH COHEN PRESENTS
COILING SILK QIGONG: DISSOLVE TENSION, RENEW VITALITY
September 30- October 2, 2011 in Boulder, Colorado
Qigong, “energy cultivation,” is an ancient Chinese system of exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation that improves health and vitality, makes the mind tranquil, and deepens your connection with nature. You will learn a complete set of traditional Coiling Silk Qigong. Various parts of the body turn slowly on a stable axis, like a the turning of a wheel, or the unwinding of a silk cocoon. Coiling Silk Qigong unwinds energetic knots and dissolves areas of tension. The exercises gently open and close the joints, improve posture and breathing, and stimulate the life force, qi, to flow without obstruction. This is an excellent practice for personal well-being and a powerful way to improve your skill level in Tai Chi, Yoga, or any sport. The course will include intensive practice, clear explanations, and time for discussion.

Tracey Holderman Yoga September 12, 19 and 26, 5-6:30 pm, big room
traceyholderman@gmail.com  303-817-2414
Today’s world is a busy, outward and upward one. Yoga classes are sometimes too overwhelming for those seeking the beginnings of a practice. Bringing Yoga Home is a way to practice in the comfort of your own space, pause to ask questions and design a program that fits your unique needs.

Receiving external support allows you to develop a clear relationship with your inner teacher (Atman). Ultimately, the trust in your own direct insight allows the deeper currents of a yoga practice to unfold.

No props (mat, block, etc.) or prior experience are necessary to begin…only a desire to go within and get out of your own way.

Gurdjieff Movements  http://www.tadhanna.com/movements/

Purpose and Expectations:
Our study group uses Gurdjieff Movements to help us explore our lives and the nature of our being. The specific topics of study are wide-ranging, but are generally those which are informed by body-based inquiry. For example, we emphasize establishing connections between attention and bodily sensation while engaging the Movements. Systematic observation in this manner helps to explore unconscious and subconscious patterns that may include physical, emotional, or mental behaviors.
