"My Fatherʻs Granddaughter was a way for me to work through the passing of my Father. It is still a very emotional album for me. I worked with only a few key people on this project, Milan Bertosa who has been my engineer for 25 years, My good brother Michael Ruff and the beautiful guitar work of Jeff Peterson. Simply magic in the studio. Most of all to my fans and fans of Hawaiian music, mahalo from the bottom of my heart for supporting our industry and most importantly our culture..."
