Can you imagine celebrating Thanksgiving or Hanukkah without
your family by your side? For those with communication challenges, being
isolated from Jewish communal life is often a reality. It is estimated that
over 48 million Americans have some kind of hearing loss. JRDC is a Jewish
organization that advocates nationally to change policies and funding streams
to better include this population not only in the community, but in the
JDRC is proud to work with national Jewish leaders and other
community partners to ensure the inclusion of those with communication
challenges in all our programs. This includes providing real live captioning or
interpreting or other modes of communication access whenever the Jewish

donations received through the end of the year. Your generosity helped us reach

Your support will fund the education of Jewish leaders, such as
executive directors, board presidents, and clergy, to help them understand how
to create partnerships with individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing so
that collectively we can meet at communal decision making tables. Only when we include all members of our
community can we be truly undivided.
