Blended Delivery Offering

Saint Elizabeth Health Care, through our Saint Elizabeth Health Career Colleges, is pleased to announce that we will be offering an intake of the Health Care Aide (HCA) Diploma Blended Delivery (BD) Program for community members in Manitoba First Nations. Our career colleges are a national network of recognized and regulated not for profit colleges exclusively focused on health education. This program has been developed to support students who wish to minimize the time required to leave community and family to complete HCA training. The program offers the best of face to face and virtual (online) education training. Students in the HCA BD program will learn through a combination of in person sessions, modules done at home and weekly Virtual Gatherings done through virtual technologies. Virtual technologies can include tele health and/or computer based meeting programs.

The Blended Delivery HCA Diploma Program will be delivered over 34 weeks, with 3 in-person sessions of 2 weeks each in Winnipeg, and a 2 week Long Term Care (LTC) Practicum. The program includes practicum hours in both community (in the student's home community) and Long Term Care (Partner Care facility in Winnipeg).
