Creating a Strong Neighborhood

Dear PUSH Members & Neighbors,

The month of February was as busy as it was cold. Through rain, hail, sleet, or a mountain of Buffalo snow, we keep it moving, read more for details.

Monthly Meeting February 2015

Thanks to all who came to our February 2015 monthly meeting. Become a member of PUSH. Dues are just $5 for a year. You can sign up at our next monthly meeting on Saturday May 16th, 3PM at The Grant St Neighborhood Center, 271 Grant St.

2nd sat 3-2015 025

Bennett High School, Lafayette High School, East High School, and the Martin Luther King Multi-Cultural Institute are schools that were to be closed, and/or be converted into charter schools. Students, teachers, and parents showed up at many meetings in big numbers. We came together and we made it happen - the Buffalo School Board agreed to adopt elements of community driven plans to correct the schools.

Energy Democracy Committee Meeting

If you'd like to be a part of the growing community movement to put the power of how we decide our energy future back into our own hands, join us at the next PUSH Buffalo ‪#‎EnergyDemocracy‬ committee meeting. The next one is Thursday March, 19th (today) at 6pm. We'll be meeting at 460 Massachusetts Ave in Buffalo.
