Creating a Strong Neighborhood

Dear PUSH Members & Neighbors,

Bennett High School, Lafayette High School, East High School, and the Martin Luther King Multi-Cultural Institute are to be closed, and/or be converted into charter schools. Students, teachers, and parents showed up at a meeting to let the Buffalo Board of Education know that we won’t let them hand over our schools to big business.

We want to thank everyone for coming out to the Energy Democracy forum in Buffalo NY on January 29th and braving the cold with us. Remember, "The power is in our hands". If we come together, we can make Cheap Energy, Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Clean Energy, Renewable Energy, Geo-Thermal Energy, Hemp Energy and low utility bills (no utility bills) a widespread reality in the state of New York. We'll keep you posted on what's next.
