The World's Largest Food Packing Event
to be held Saturday, February 8

Response Was Overwhelming

What a wonderful statement this is about the generosity of  the Brevard County business and religious community.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP unless you have a packing time slot already confirmed.

Our time slots have been filled with volunteers from many businesses and religious organizations that made reservations.  Individuals from those groups will be receiving a letter from us in a day or so.  Your "admission" to pack and last-minute instructions will be sent out no later than February 6.

On February 8, thousands of us will join Health First, United Way and many other fine organizations in taking a major step to help alleviate childhood hunger and malnutrition with elementary school age kids in Brevard County.  We are sorry if your group did not get the reservation placed in time to participate.
Packages Milestone.
So far this year we have delivered 20,992 packages of food to kids that are hungry and undernourished in Brevard County.  Many thanks to all of you that give your prayers or money or time.  Special thanks to United Way and the Central Brevard Sharing Center who are responsible for making possible about a third of our deliveries each week.

Awareness is our weakest link
Help us feed at least one kid.  Even if you can't help us financially, please tell your co-workers, friends, and congregation members to “Like” us on Facebook and visit our website

To all of you who give so much in prayer and effort, THANK YOU for supporting our kids.

Attention Volunteers!

Registration is closed for the World's Largest Food Packing Event February 8.  Because of this big event, our volunteer needs will change slightly over the next few months.  Food will already be in packages put together at the February 8 packing event, so our need will be to put them into containers and to help us arrange for delivery to schools.  Watch the next newsletter for more details.
You have done a GREAT job in our regular packing.  Phyllis Rhinehart is in charge of all our volunteer activities, so keep in touch with her if you are interested in helping our kids. (
