Dear Friend of The Children's Hunger Project,

Wow! What a Month of Giving March turned out to be! What can match the effort put forth by Bryan Price and his team at the three JERSEY MIKE'S SUBS locations in Melbourne?

You could not be in their stores without noticing the banners telling of the Children's Hunger Project.  In March, Jersey Mike's had a car show and golf tournament with all proceeds going to our kids. To top things off, on March 27th, 100% of all proceeds for that day from all three stores is being donated to help the children. This is a measure of generosity that is hard to beat. Jersey Mike's not only makes the best subs in town, they have the most generous owner.  THANK YOU, Bryan, on behalf of our kids. Click here for more photos.

The full page newspaper ad you saw Easter Sunday in Florida Today is a result of the generosity of Bruce Nelson, Jr. All ads since we started have been paid for by Bruce.  Show your appreciation by shopping at one of his three car stores...Cocoa Hyundai, Coastal Hyundai, and Coastal Mitsubishi.  Bruce has been a true Angel to our kids.

Important Development:
This September we will host the first Religious Summit designed to specifically address the hunger and malnutrition problem facing thousands of elementary school aged kids in Brevard County.  ALL religious congregations will be invited. It will be a one-morning event  at which your congregation's leaders will learn about the problem and why it is so important for them to help address the issue with our local kids. The religious community can be the key to solving the problem by supporting just one local school...the one closest to your congregation. We'll show how this can easily be done. Please ask your congregation leaders if they plan to attend.

Please remember that our biggest roadblock is awareness!  Most people are not aware that there is a malnutrition and hunger issue right here in our own back yard.  Have your Facebook friends “Like” us on Facebook and visit our website.  Share this newsletter with your family and colleagues. These simple acts are of great importance to help raise awareness of the local issues.

To all of you who have given so much in prayer and effort, THANK YOU for supporting our kids.

Have you helped to feed a hungry child?
