We're just back from an exciting day of exchange and learning at our Stakeholder Dialogue in Ancona. It has been a thrilling event with a diverse mix of participants including city representatives from London, Venice, Burgas, Ghent and many more. We were also pleased to welcome a good mix of researchers, scientists, planners, architects and experts from institutions like the European Environment Agency and the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Stakeholder Dialogue for their interest and active participation. A special big thank you goes to the city of Ancona who has been a fantastic host! We will send you a more detailed summary on the outcomes of the event in due course.
Moving from exchange to action
The Ancona dialogue marks the end of the first part of the EU Cities Adapt project. The next phase will consist of an extensive training and capacity building programme free of charge for up to 21 cities.
Cities who have not already done so can still submit their application until 16 July 2012 to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Send your completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please pass this information on to cities who you think may be interested in getting involved.
