With the beginning of the summer upon us work has picked up at the farm. Having planted our first succession of summer crops it now becomes a race to kick back the weeds and watch our favorite summer veggies grow. The first week in June also marks the beginning of our weekly Farm Box Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.

Farm Box: Sponsor Share
We are still looking for a few more individuals or families to buy Sponsor Shares from our Farm Box program. These dedicated Sponsor Share CSA supporters help us to provide 30 low-cost family boxes filled with fresh, local and sustainable veggies throughout Summer and Fall.

Sponsor Shares cost $750 and include a weekly large box filled with a variety of seasonal vegetables from June 5 through November 6.

Art in the Garden
June 23, 2-4pm, $10
Get inspired! Every 4th Saturday of the month we will be holding art classes at the farm, with each class focused on a different theme. The first class will be about basic approaches to responding artistically to your natural surroundings, basic drawing and design technique, and basic selective technique.

What to bring: pencil, paper, hard surface to work on, eraser, (if you need, something to sit on: towel, blanket, camping stool, etc). All additional mediums welcome. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please pay the facilitator at the beginning of class. All experience levels are welcome.
Each month Veggielution offers our members a special gift from the farm as a thank you for their support.
June Giveaway: FREE Pepper plants: Anaheim or Pablano. You can pick up your plant at our stand at the San Pedro Square Farmer's Market on Fridays 10am-2pm or our farmstand at Emma Prusch, from 10am-2pm on any Saturday.
Group Team Building
We are now offering group workday packages for groups up to 80 people! A beautiful day of working outdoors on our 2-acre farm is an educational and exciting team building opportunity. Your group will work on various farm projects while learning about sustainable agriculture and organic farming concepts. Join us in by getting your hands in the soil, connecting with the land, and tasting the fruits of your labor!
