Dear {First_Name},

2016 has started out to be an excellent year!  We have hired a teacher to join our team to work on the One Million Students' curriculum.  We have several distributions coming up including 500 lights to students in Liberia.  We are working with Interact Club 5160 in California on fundraising and teaching about solar energy.  Over Winter break we had a project in Nicaragua and in Sierra Leone.

We have several openings in our Global Ambassador program for this year, so if you are travelling please consider adding a distribution to your itinerary.

Check out our new Buy-One-Give-One light on our donate page!

The lights were a roaring success. The students were delighted with the gift and will be even more appreciated once they see them in operation. We asked the assembled students if any of them had a light at home to study with at night. Not a person raised their hand. They all have to do their studying during the day.
