ST Ranking List Posted
Now that some racing has been completed a brand new shiny short track ranking list has now been posted on our website.  Visit the Ranking List page to find out where you are on the list!

Rule D3-100
Rule D3-100 listing equipment has been updated, make sure you have all the required equipment to race safely as this now includes ankle protection.

The Provincial Training and Development teams and Quest for Gold selection and funding process document is now available for members.  To view the criteria please review the following:

IMPORTANT NOTE for athletes 23 years and older - NEW THIS YEAR: 
Next Generation athletes (as defined by OSSA) are skating athletes who are 23 years or older must formally submit a request for consideration to the Selection Committee. 
Due date for applications for funding is Monday, October 29th, 2012. For more information please read the selection and funding process bulletin. Should you have questions please contact the OSSA office.

Officials Clinic Available!

Officials are in high demand throughout the province. Now is your chance to complete the training and be involved at the meets. Mark Saturday, November 17th on your calendars for a Level 1 Officials Clinic in Newmarket. Click here for more details

The cost is only $10!!

Officials that took the Level 2 Track Steward clinic last season that do not have their Level 1 clinic completed should try to attend to be able to complete their certification.

The Investor’s Group and the Coaching Association of Canada  were a big part of the Introduction to Competition course in Hamilton on September 29-30th by contributing a $500 grant.  The support was greatly appreciated by all of the coaches that participated in the course as well as all of the skaters who will now benefit from their training.
