Logo Policy
Did you know that we have a logo policy?  It can be found in our Information Manual.
To ensure there is no confusion we also have a document authorizing our clubs to use the logo.  
You can find it on the same page as the information manual and by-laws.

Attention Ontario Winter Games Skaters!

Ontario Winter Games Are Coming Up Fast!

All skaters are required to confirm their intent to participate in the 2012 Ontario Winter Games by 5:00pm on January 9th, 2012. Skaters must also return a signed waiver with their written intent to participate. Any Intent to participate not sent with a signed waiver will not be considered complete.

Canada Cup #3

The announcement and entry form has been posted for Canada Cup #3.  If you are interested in attending and need to book a hotel room please note that you must book by January 9th to take advantage of the special rate.

Registration for this event is by branch entry only.  If you intend to participate please ensure your entry form is received at the OSSA office via email or faxed to 705-652-1227 by WEDNESDAY JANUARY 25th.  Please note that this deadline is in advance of the meet entry deadline to allow for processing time.  Entries received after this date will be subject to a late entry charge.  

Payment for entries can be made by cheque or credit card.

Canadian Sport for Life - LTPAD

OSSA  was awarded a grant to help subsidize the formation of a working group that was tasked with coming up with an implementation for LTPAD.  The final report of the group is now available and can be found on our website on the new LTPAD page.

Ontario Speed Skating Association Welcomes New Employee

Ben Wilkins has recently joined the Ontario Speed Skating Association in the Program Coordinator position. Ben is Currently in his third year of a three year Sport Management Course at Durham College in Oshawa.  Ben will be working at OSSA as an unpaid intern for the winter semester to fulfill a course requirement.
