The Coaching Association of Canada has recently launched, for a limited time only, free online concussion awareness training

Making Head Way is part of a series of eLearning NCCP Professional Development modules dedicated to ensuring coaches are concussion smart. Taking the Making Head Way multi-sport module will help you gain the knowledge and skills required to ensure the safety of your athletes. 

Once completed, you know will know what to do to prevent concussions, how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a concussion, what to do when you suspect an athlete has a concussion and how to ensure athletes return to play safely. It’s absolutely FREE! Registration is one click away!

SSC ST Talent Development Camp

Speed Skating Canada, through its Short Track Program and Regional Development Mentors, is proud to present its first Talent Development Camp for 15 to 16 year old skaters and Training to Train Coaches. Interested skaters born between July 1st 1996 & June 30th 1998 are invited to check out the details of the camp and apply to participate by May 15th. Camps will be held in Toronto, Montreal and Richmond. Ontario skaters can apply to any of the camps. Please let OSSA know when you send in your application.
