Financial Contributions
If you feel led to contribute toward student scholarships and the funding of this great event we invite you to do so by sending funds to Appalachian Classical Music Association.
The Sonata Festival is in part funded by your entry fees and concert ticket sales, but these only partially cover the expenses of the event.
Even though we work with an entire volunteer staff the budget for this event is almost $20,000. This covers all artist and clinician fees, building use, scholarships, food, and other misc costs like student awards.
ACMA also works hard throughout the year obtaining grant funding. This year we are very thankful for the Tennessee Arts Commission Grants totaling $5,700. But, these grants must be matched in funds from fees and donations.
